Things to Know Before Your Appointment
Appointments
Services are by appointment only. I cannot accommodate walk-ins.
Booking Fee
A non-refundable booking fee of $15 is required when scheduling. This fee is to reserve your spot in my book. It will be credited to your total when your appointment is complete. If the fee is not paid, the appointment won’t be scheduled. Booking fees do not apply to repair appointments.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If I need to reschedule your appointment (ie. if I get sick), your booking fee will be rolled over to the new appointment and you’ll receive 15% off.
If you need to reschedule, a new booking fee will be required to reserve a new spot. Booking fees won’t be refunded in the case of cancellations.
Late Arrivals & No-Shows
I want you to be able to enjoy the full time for your appointment so please arrive promptly. Arriving more than 15 minutes late could result in an abbreviated service or the service needing to be rescheduled and a new booking fee being paid.
Age Requirements
I cannot perform gel services on anyone 14 or younger. Because their nails are very delicate and more oily than adult nails, gel services will not adhere properly and can be more prone to causing damage to their natural nails. I do offer manicures and pedicures with regular, air-dry polish for younger clients.
Nail & Skin Conditions
I cannot perform services on hands or feet that have any type of infection or inflammation. If you arrive at your appointment with any type of infection or wound in the area to be serviced, I will not be able to carry out the appointment. If you are unsure, please message me with a picture of the affected area so I can make an assessment.
I’m unable to treat nails or skin that are affected by any type of contagious condition including athlete’s foot, ringworm, nail fungus, and warts. Please talk to your doctor if you are unsure of a particular condition.
Children in the Studio
It is preferable that children not be brought to the appointment. I want to be able to provide a relaxing atmosphere and uninterrupted service. Also keep in mind there are chemicals, sharp tools, and expensive equipment in the studio. If children must accompany you to your appointment, they will not be permitted to sit on your lap as it affects my ability to provide quality service.
Things to Know at Your Appointment
No-Tipping Policy
My intention for my studio is to create a soothing and relaxing environment for my guests. To contribute to this experience, I’ve implemented a no-tipping policy. I’ve aligned my service pricing accordingly, and I want to assure you that I do not expect gratuities. If you enjoy your visit and know someone else that would, referrals in place of tips would be much appreciated.
Silent Appointment Option
As an introverted person myself, I understand that sometimes a moment of quiet is needed. I want to make my clients as comfortable as possible so I offer an option for a silent appointment. “Silent” can mean whatever you’d like it to mean.
Would you like soft, soothing background music and no chatting?
Maybe you’d prefer a rain ambiance or forest sounds instead.
Perhaps you’re looking for a completely silent appointment with no sounds or talking.
You’re even welcome to wear headphones if you’d like. And if it makes you more comfortable, I can wear mine too.
Just let me know you’d prefer a silent appointment when scheduling, or even at your appointment, and I’ll be more than happy to accommodate your request.
Service Guarantee
Because time and supplies have been utilized during services provided, no refunds will be given. However, if a service breakdown (ie. an issue not caused by the client) occurs within the first 7 days, please contact me within those 7 days with a photo of the issue and I will schedule a time for you to come in for a free repair. You must be able to come in within 3 days of contacting me for the free repair. After the first 7 days, the repair will be subject to the repair fee plus any required nail art.
Gel polish manicures and enhancement infills are strongly recommended at no more than 3 weeks to maintain healthy nails and avoid breakages. If an infill is beyond the recommended 3 weeks, any repairs that need to be done will be subject to the repair fee. If an infill is within the recommended 3 weeks, any repairs will be free.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment are PayPal, CashApp, debit/credit card through Square, or cash.
Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior or making unreasonable requests.
Gift Certificates
– Copies will not be accepted. The original must be provided.
– They are transferable, but please contact me to make the transfer.
– Please contact me in case of lost gift certificates.
– All gift certificates are non-refundable.
– They are not redeemable for cash.
– They are valid for all services available.
